cRAIG mITCHELL, a.k.a. oLIVER tWISTED, a founding member of the chart-topping production team The Orange Factory, fathered and cultivated the dance music scene in Burlington, Vermont, where he went to Saint Michaels College after moving from Saginaw Michigan...near the birthplace of techno, Detroit, Michigan.

With nearly 27 years behind the decks, cRAIG has served as a resident at New York City's legendary Tunnel and Limelight nightclubs and has played many of the country's most celebrated venues and club nights, while also doing his thing for international crowds in Canada, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. He continues residencies at Rise in Boston and Twist in Miami, but focuses on his several more open format weeklies in Burlington, VT, these days as a break from travel and production.

cRAIG has shared the booth with such tastemakers as John Creamer, Peter Rauhofer, Honey Dijon and Tom Stephan (Superchumbo), amongst others. In 2009, he began touring as a duo with house dj legend, Manny Ward, under the moniker, Contorto. Contorto's debut single, “QUEENIE”, a cover of Ethyl Meatplow's industrial/club classic, features vocals by Alan T and released on cRAIG's Slanted Black Records imprint. Slanted Black released the single, “Don't Be Afraid” by Eddie The Gun, which is featured in the James Cameron produced film, Chain Letter. The video for "Don't Be Afraid" hit #1 on MTVmusic.com.

cRAIG's recorded works can be found on Global Underground, Transport, and various other compilations via releases on such labels as Twisted, Kult, Groovin', Kinetic and more, including chart-topping remixes with the Orange Factory for Yoko Ono. He helped form Yoko's label, Mind Train Records, and served as label manager and a&r for 3 years, which resulted in a Billboard #1 for “Walking On Thin Ice”. During his stint living in the NYC area, he worked for V2 Records and Kinetic (Warner Bros and BMG distributed labels). His latest productions/vocal performances include tracks with 1200 Warriors, G-Dubs, Stereo Soldiers, Manny Ward, Midnight Society and many more. Yup, you're right...this guy is BUSY!

One experience with cRAIG behind the tables, on the air (WZXO 96.7 FM), and/or belting out one of his tracks LIVE, with his sometimes Prince tribute band, The Purple Ones, while dancing continuously in the booth and spreading his ONE LOVE mantra through the music each night, and you'll understand why his shows are so well attended and received
